The latest solution proposed by the Portuguese cork producer Amorim Isolamentos is easy to quick install expanded insulation cork "Lambourde". A "Lambourde" cork panel is a classic expanded cork board with two embedded lengthwise strips installed with OSB. The use of OSB strips allows very fast installation of expandable cork to a wall by means of erecting pins. At the same time to the same OSB strips, using wood screws, plasterboard or MDF is fastened.

The use of the system - expanded cork board "Lambourde" + plasterboard ensures an effective solution to the problems of sound, thermal and anti-vibration insulation that we encounter both in newly constructed buildings as well as during renovation work. Excellent insulating properties combined with easy and fast installation make this sustainable system the perfect building solution.
